Hi I’m Mariah.
I’m here to help you move from overwhelm to understanding
As a BABCP-accredited CBT Psychotherapist and Registered Mental Health Social Worker, specialising in helping adults move through anxiety, OCD and intrusive thoughts, trauma, and life transitions.
I offer a compassionate, creative, and evidence-based approach to therapy, helping you find clarity, confidence, and lasting change. My style is warm, person-centred, and collaborative, grounded in the belief that you are far more than your difficulties or diagnoses.
Together, we focus on understanding your experiences within the wider context of your life story, culture, and values, taking a ‘whole-person’ approach that honours the many layers of who you are.

My Story
I’ve always believed that everyone has a story to tell, and that belief has shaped every stage of my career, from working in the charitable and arts sector to amplify unheard voices, to becoming a mental health social worker advocating for those whose stories were often overlooked, and now as a psychotherapist supporting people through their own narratives of change and hope.
My creative roots and love of writing continue to inform the way I listen, understand, and work with clients: with curiosity, respect, and a commitment to helping people make meaning of their experiences.
I believe therapy is most effective when it’s personal. I don’t schedule clients back-to-back; instead, I take time between sessions to reflect deeply on each person’s story and therapeutic needs. This allows me to tailor a collaborative treatment plan that centres on your goals, strengths, and aspirations.
I’d love to hear your story and what you are keen to get support with. Please feel free to get in touch.
